Lisbon hosted the United Nations Ocean Conference for five days.
An event that brought together more than 7,000 participants, including 25 heads of state and government and a hundred ministers, some 38 specialized agencies and international organizations, almost 1,200 non-governmental organizations and other entities, more than 400 companies and a hundred and a half universities. The numbers make Portugal’s conference the biggest event ever held on the oceans.
